Men's Program

About this Program

This is a 12 month residential program rooted in a bible-based curriculum. The first six months are free. The Ark will provide room, board and all necessities at no cost. During this time residents are required to attend daily classes, they will receive mental health counseling, engage in duties on campus and obtain their GED. Residents are not allowed to have a job during this time.

Advancing through the Program

Upon graduation from tier one, residents will be required to pay $108 per week for the duration of their stay. During this phase we assist residents with enrolling in college, technical or vocational school, obtaining their driver's license, ID, job training, job placement, budget planning and more. Residents will have a mentor assigned to assist in their progression through our program.

The Goal

The goal at the end of this program is for our residents to transform their lives. Our residents become independent, contributing members of society equipped with the the tools to discover their God-given purpose and live out that very purpose.

All necessary documents needed to apply to our program can be downloaded below. Please note that incomplete application packets will not be considered. Completed application packets can be sent to us by one of three ways:

Frequently Asked Questions

Dress Code

Shirts may not be low cut and sleeves must cover the shoulders.
Clothes may not have holes of any kind.
Men must wear long pants and a nice shirt with collar when working in the Ark Thrift Stores.
Men must wear knee-length shorts/jeans and a shirt with collar when working in the Ark Warehouse.

Items you may bring

Please note that you DO NOT have to bring any of these items. These are just suggestions. The Ark will provide any needed items to new residents of our program when you arrive.

A maximum of 10 outfits (this may include blouses, t-shirts, long pants, and knee-length shorts)
Underwear and socks
Pajamas
Tennis shoes
A coat or jacket
Journal
Bathroom caddy
Toiletry items
Hair styling products and tools
Twin sheets and comforter
Pillow
Towels and washcloths
A few personal items (pictures, stuffed animal, etc.)

Items you MAY NOT bring

Any items that contain alcohol such as mouth wash or hand sanitizer
Weapons of any kind
Money
Candles
Roll-up cigarettes or loose tobacco
