A Place of Safety During the Storms of Life
The Ark is a place of hope, healing and help. Our mission is to nurture the total needs of humanity--mind, body and soul. Our commitment is to guide individuals so that they can discover their God-given purpose and live out that very purpose.
Get Involved
The Ark is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit ministry in Dothan, Alabama. We are funded primarily through the sales of our thrift stores and the generosity of donors. We are seeking to partner with churches, businesses, organizations and individuals to support the current ministries and expand our ministries to help more people.
Current Needs
We have several needs at this time including:
- Prayer
- Toiletries for both men and women
- Funding and volunteers for our Men's and Women's Center
- Vehicles: Please consider donating your old car/truck/van
- Volunteers to prepare and serve meals
- Volunteers to assist with our thrift store
