Electronic Recycling

How the program works

As a service to the community and the environment, we accept your old and unwanted electronic devices. These devices include but are not limited to laptops, computers, cell phones, printers, appliances, cameras, TVs and radios.

Our residents are taught how to disassemble and recycle the materials so they don't go into a landfill. Any sensitive data including hard drives can be destroyed on the spot and returned to the customer at their request. Money made off of the metal and parts are put back into our ministry program. This service is offered for free with the exception of tube TV's and monitors, we charge a $1 per diagonal inch.

You can come by to drop off your items at the Ark Monday-Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

This program is a group effort with other partners in the community including Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center’s Assured Data Destruction, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and Discovery Recycling.

Throughout the year, we organize community recycling days. See our calendar below for upcoming dates.
